Kaizen Gunns
Sensei Paul Gunn
I started karate in my mid thirties after watching my two children train and compete on a regular basis. I was hooked straight away. I competed at association level for a few years winning my last competition at the age of 40. When I retired from competition I progressed with my training achieving the grade of 4th Dan.
Missing my competition time I decided to become a competition official. After achieving my association refereeing qualification I achieved my first national qualification in 2004. Travelling all over the country for several years I progressed to become a British referee. More travelling this time across Europe I achieved the qualification of European judge.
When my two children decided to retire from the national and international competition scene we decided to open our club. Hoping to give back to students our knowledge and experience in karate.
