BIKO Open 2017

A very unlucky day at the BIKO Open today. We started with Josh in the Men's kata. Josh performed some excellent katas which got better with each round. Unfortunately due to a poor decision from the referees Josh ended up in 4th place instead of going away with the medal that he deserved. Next up we had Olly in the kumite who started off very well with a 9-0 win, unfortunately Olly picked up an injury in that fight which meant he was unable to continue. Finally we had Josh up again in kumite this time. Josh fought well against a very tough opponent, unfortunately he wasn't able to get the win but he never gave up. No medals today but a lot of positives that can be taken into future competitions.
